It's time for a big step

What's the plan?

Origin began with a small vegetable bed and a few chickens, gradually expanding into our current 3-acre site as our team grew and we shaped Origin into what it is today. Now, we’re excited to take the next step—expanding further by acquiring the 12-acre field adjacent to Origin.

While we’re just beginning this process, we’ve already secured some match funding from our supporters. We’ll be sharing detailed plans soon, but we wanted to spread the word and invite you to join us on this exciting journey.

Environment

Our plan includes implementing regenerative agriculture, creating a pocket forest, establishing a wildlife lake, expanding vegetable growing space beyond what we currently have, generating wind power, and planting native foraging hedgerows, among many other initiatives.

Wellbeing

The expansion of Origin will significantly enhance our capabilities, offering more opportunities for volunteers, welcoming more referrals, and providing counselling in a stunning natural setting. It will become a long-term project for many to participate in and a shared local space for our community. Picture serene walks, retreat pods, wellbeing spaces, and much more—this expansion will create a place where people can connect, heal, and grow together.
